Pack your picnic basket, grab a blanket, and bring the whole family to New Jersey’s premier site for public astronomy – the UACNJ observatories and lecture hall in Jenny Jump State Forest, Hope, NJ. There will be numerous events throughout the day followed by observing with our telescopes after dark.
The United Astronomy Clubs of NJ at the UACNJ Observatory runs a FREE outreach program for the public every Saturday night, April thru October, conducted from around 8-10 p.m. but Family Astronomy Field Day begins at 2 p.m. Check the website for the full schedule of activities.
