Uncle Floyd To Appear in Oxford

Uncle Floyd Vivino, a longtime television performer as well as on stage and screen is considered a New Jersey icon. He will perform on his guitar and deliver a variety of his comedy monologues. In addition to television, he is perhaps best known to the regional community for his lengthy association with Wild West City, the western heritage theme park located in Netcong, New Jersey.

The performance will be 45 minutes long. There is no admission fee. Attendance will be limited to 60 guests and pre-registration is required by calling Andy Drysdale at 908-475-8385 by November 16. Please leave a message if the your call is not answered live. The program is sponsored by the Warren County Cultural & Heritage Commission.

The church is located approximately 300 feet south of Shippen Manor Museum. Parking is available streetside on Washington Avenue or in the parking areas of the Manor. Tours of the Manor will be available between 2:30 and 4 pm.

Starting at 4:30 pm, the church will host a family-style ham dinner. Price for adults will be $12, young people ages 5 through 12 are $6, and children under 5 are free!

Shippen Manor

Shippen Manor is a c.1754 iron master’s residence built by Dr. William Shippen, Sr. The Shippens were socially prominent members of a wealthy Philadelphia family. The museum offers guided tours on the 1st and 2nd Sundays from May to December, except on holidays.
