Kick off Victorian Days weekend by dressing in your best Victorian attire (not required but highly recommended) and join in an elegant evening in historic Belvidere! The cotillion (also cotillon or “French country dance”) is a social dance, popular in the late 18th-century and early 19th-century in Europe and America. Originally for four couples in square formation, it was a courtly version of an English country dance, the forerunner of the quadrille and, in the United States, the square dance. A caller will guide us through 19th-century Victorian dances, and beverages and snacks will be served. $20/ticket in advance when purchased online; $25 on day of event at door.
This is a rain or shine event. Please understand that we are unable to issue refunds.
