Asbury United Methodist Church holds its annual festival at Oxford Furnace Lake. One Hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit the Asbury UMC community based assistance missions, and the Oxford Lake Youth Organization who provides free programs for local Warren County youth. The event includes a food vendor’s exhibit featuring Blue Moon Culinary and Sauced and Rubbed BBQ and others as well. They offer both vegetarian and meat lovers dishes.
Other vendors will be on site and community organizations as well whose offerings include homemade crafts, community information on important local issues, jewelry, soaps and handmade candles, pet treats and supplies, and many more. There will also be swimming, boating, a picnic area, and related activities available on site for families to enjoy. Many vendors will offer free prize drawings at their tables, and there will be a free door prize drawing worth $125 during the day for one lucky visitor to the event. The water based activities on site are part of an independent company, so there is small charge for visitors should they wish to partake in the water based activities on site. Admission to the festival and parking are all free! So come join us for family fun, shopping, some great and original eats, and a chance to go home with a free door prize too.
