The Warren County Board of Chosen Freeholders honors wartime military veterans at the Warren County War Memorial. Honorably discharged veterans who served during wartime, have ties to Warren County, and applied for the medal will be awarded the “Warren County Distinguished Military Service” medal from the Board of Chosen Freeholders. Veterans living and deceased will be honored.
This (socially distanced) ceremony is free and open to the public. Bring your own chair if you wish.
The ceremony is sponsored by the Freeholder board and the Warren County War Memorial Corporation: Dennis Smith, President; Jay Richards, Vice President; Milly Rice; Leo Becker, John J. Coyle, Jr., Douglas Grunn, John Hawk, Rich Larsen, Ernie Maso and Charles Prestopine.
