Looking to finish off the Farmers Market season with a flourish, the Washington Business Improvement District, in conjunction with the Borough Green Team, is hosting a Farmer Market Season-Ending Grand Finale event that includes live music by Southbound (pictured) and the Bob Lanza Band, and a tribute to pets for Pet Appreciation Day.
This weekly Farmers’ Market offers quality fruits and vegetables as well as specialty items with special events in the Pocket Park downtown, and the Grand Finale event caps a terrific season for the award-winning market.
Farmers Market hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Music on Oct. 3 kicks off at 10:30 with the Bob Lanza Band and then southern rockers, Southbound, perform from 1-3 p.m.
Attendees are invited to purchase a host of fresh and delicious locally-grown vegetables and fruits for home, as well as dine in any one of the downtown area restaurants, including Lost Ladies, William’s Irish Tavern, Empanada Mamasita, Juanito’s Mexican, and the newest one, 214 Farm to Table.
