Artist Jeffery M Green will be giving a colored pencil demo with WCARTS. He will begin with a short talk discussing basic technique, showing some of his pieces, and sharing challenges in his life.
Following this he will give a step-by-step demo of how to draw a realistic eye with colored pencils. Viewers are invited to draw along in a workshop experience, while others are free to watch and enjoy the demo if they do not wish to.
Those participating are required to bring a stiff drawing surface such as art board, Bristol board, or a smooth or lightly textured watercolor paper. Artist grade colored pencils are also required. Prismacolor is the mostly widely available, though you may bring other brands as long as they are artist grade conventional colored pencils.
