Pressed flowers are a delightful way to bring a breath of the garden indoors throughout the year. Learn how to get started; the best time to pick flowers and what to choose; which flowers and leaves dry successfully and have good color retention. Artist Doris Cunniff will demonstrate the various methods used to press flowers and how to store them. Samples of the many ideas and designs which can be created using pressed flowers will be on display.
While there is no fee to attend the one-hour lecture, participation in the card making workshop segment of the program is $10/person and maximum number of participants in the workshop is 20 people. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to pre-register. Preference will be given to members of Warren County ARTS.
