Come and enjoy a relaxing and educational day with lavender. Our day begins at 11:00 with ‘Lovely Lavender,’ a presentation by David Hyde on growing, enjoying and harvesting this herb. The history, best varieties, tips and tricks, as well as the many healing benefits of lavender will be covered.
A tasty lavender lunch will follow at 12:00. At 1:00 enjoy an activity creating your very own 6″ heart-shaped fresh lavender wreath. Drying and care instructions will also be covered. This makes an attractive addition for your home’s decor. Come experience this wonderful fragrant herb. Reservations are required. $52.00.
