Alba Vineyard Opens New Winery

Alba Vineyard, a 93-acre estate nestled in the rolling hills of Warren County's Musconetcong River valley, now has proudly completed construction of a state-of-the-art winemaking and barrel aging facility along with a new tasting and sales room. The Sharko family and winemaker John Altmaier are pleased to officially open their new winemaking and tasting room facility in the Village of Finesville, Pohatcong Township, on Saturday, May 5, 2018.

The new facilities which include an outdoor arbor, wood-fired pizza oven, and private party pavilion, represents a return to earlier times when the connection between the farmer, winemaker, and customer was direct.  Patrons can come and taste fine estate wines, sit under a unique timber frame arbor with rock gardens all within a magnificent view of the surrounding hillside vineyards, while enjoying wood-fired pizza and music.

The vision was simple and very well executed – give the wine-drinking consumer an experience unlike any other all within an hour and a half drive from New York City or Philadelphia.

To their valued, established customers who have patiently awaited the opening and to new customers who would love to experience the exciting future of Alba Vineyard, they would like to extend an invitation for you to visit in the near future.

With this dynamic new approach to the Alba Vineyard wine tasting experience, they are truly embracing life’s greatest pleasures; wine, food, and nature.  Open weekends: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
