Shippen Manor Lawn Concert Season Underway

(OXFORD, NJ) -- Grab your lawn chairs or a blanket, pack a picnic, call your friends - this summer's free Shippen Manor Lawn Concert series is about to begin!

The 12-week Sunday concert series kicks off June 17, 2018 with The SaddleTones, who bring their "American Music" to the Shippen outdoor stage at 6 p.m.

Combining elements of '50s rhythm & blues, rockabilly, traditional country and swing, The SaddleTones will "git your toes a-tappin’."

Leader of The SaddleTones Miss Laurie Ann’s original songs continue to be played on roots radio stations throughout the world. In support of her records she has been performing with her band, The SaddleTones, for many years now. The SaddleTones include Joe Brensinger on guitar, Ira Spinrad on guitar, Jimmy Beckerman on keys, Howard Girao on upright bass and Davie Lee Ross on drums. They continue to perform at honky-tonks, theaters, festivals and many other events primarily along the East Coast.
