And don’t forget, for a big section of southern Warren County, Thanksgiving means football, specifically the annual Easton – Phillipsburg Game. One of the oldest high school sports rivalries and the oldest interstate Thanksgiving Day game, it’s been played since 1905, and it’s always a hard-fought, entertaining game, both on the field and in the stands as two excellent marching bands keep the crowd excited. The two teams clash on neutral ground at Lafayette College’s stadium, and this year Phillipsburg is the “home” team. Good luck to the Stateliners!
