On The Trail February 19 - March 8, 2026

"Lent is the best time of the year to run a marathon. Because that’s when you fast." - Anonymous

We’re in fast pursuit of shamrocks with St. Patrick’s Day on the horizon, and are always happy for an excuse to feature cute animals - like this pup at Czig Meister Brewing Company - dressed up to partake in last year's pet-friendly Hackettstown’s St. Patrick’s Day parade, coming up on March 8 this year.

Participating in the Leprechaun Crawl, Czig Meister is also one of Warren County’s acclaimed breweries participating in the 2026 Grains & Grapes Trail Passport Program, kicking off this weekend through April 30. Request a passport at any of the 10 establishments on the trail, get it stamped at each location, and receive a custom canvas G&G tote bag! All who complete the trail will also be entered to win the grand prize: a Yeti Tundra 35 cooler courtesy of LOST Goods and Gear of Belvidere and their partner store FOUND The Art of Home filled with gift cards and stickers from all of the trail members ($875 value)!

Esteemed G&G trail members Villa Milagro Vineyards will be serving up Sip 'n' Soup weekends, while Four Sisters Winery invites you to sniff out the clues at its Murder Mystery Dinner.

Celebrating our nation's 250th anniversary is The United States Navy Band in concert at Phillipsburg High School, performing American classics to contemporary pieces including works by John Williams, Joseph Turrin, Alberto Ginastera and more.

Don’t miss Centenary Stage Company's upcoming performances of Alfred Hitchcock's cinematic masterpiece Dial “M” for Murder, and an unforgettable show of Celtic proportion in Plan Ahead by The Tartan Terrors.

With that, we'll let you get to reading and exploring the rest of the events on tap in Warren County!

Happy St. Patrick's Day, Happy Daylight Savings (spring ahead!), Happy Grains & Grapes Trail, and Happy Wanderings!
