Centenary Stage Company is seeking dynamic actors, singers and movers - specifically with strong pop/rock abilities. Non-equity open auditions for the 2018 summer stock production of HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical with a book and lyrics by James Rado and Gerome Ragni and music by Galt MacDermott will be held on March 24. Performers should prepare 16 - 32 bars of a rock or contemporary song from the musical theatre genre. An accompanist will be provided. Performers are also asked to dress comfortably as there will be a movement portion of the audition.
Performance dates: July 26 through August 5, with performances Thursdays through Sundays, in the Sitnik Theater of the David and Carol Lackland Performing Arts Center. Hair will start rehearsals July 10.
