Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration at Millbrook Village

Saturday, June 24, 2017 -
10:00am to 3:00pm

Celebrate independence in a re-created 19th century agricultural support village in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The event includes hands-on activities, craft demonstrations, and a watermelon eating contest. Village buildings will be open with tours and craft demonstrations. Join the townsfolk in the parade down Main Street at 1pm and gather at the green in front of the general store for a patriotic speech given by one of our local celebrities. Everything is free and fun for the family. Bring a picnic!

Millbrook Village is located on Old Mine Road in Hardwick, NJ, 12 miles north of Interstate 80 at Exit 1.  Village buildings are open Saturday-Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm and the grounds are open daily during daylight hours.

Millbrook Village

Millbrook Village is a representation of a late 19th Century rural community, rather than an exact restoration of the original Millbrook that has its origins in an 1832 grist mill that soon was surrounded by other businesses and homes.
