Travel Through Time Fashion Show

Sunday, April 2, 2017 - 2:00pm
Sunday, April 2, 2017 - 4:30pm

As Centenary University continues with the 150th Anniversary events that will run throughout the year, this event should appeal to those who have a love for fashion AND history.  The Travel Through Time Fashion Show will run twice in one day.  The shows will be at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on April 2, 2017 at the Edith Bolte Kutz Black Box Theater at the David and Carol Lackland Center. The cost is $10 per adult and $4 for students and children.  There will be a reception between the two shows in the Lackland Center Lobby and it will be open to ticket holders for either show.

More than 20 students will model outfits that were popular since 1867 until today.  This opportunity will include costumes from Acorn Hall, a museum in Morristown.  The collection from Acorn Hall will reflect the first 40 years of this time span.  Original garments will be worn from each decade after 1910.  It will include outfits from Centenary Stage Company’s collection.  The show will include two to six looks for every ten years that Centenary has been in existence!

Tickets are available through Centenary Stage Company's webiste or by calling 908-979-0900.  For further information, please call Nancy Paffendorf at 908-852-1400, ext. 2480 or at paffendorfn@centenaryuniversity.edu.
