United Astronomy Clubs of New Jersey Presents: A Cruise Through Space

Saturday, May 12, 2018 - 8:00pm

Now that the warmer weather is approaching, you may be looking for something to do with family and friends for free. On one of your upcoming Saturday evenings between April and October 2018, the United Astronomy Clubs of New Jersey (UACNJ) Observatory, located in Jenny Jump State Forest in Hope, NJ will be open.

With their 7 on-site telescopes you can see the rings of Saturn, 100s of Nebula, galaxies and star clusters that are hundreds, thousands and millions of light-years away from Earth. All you need to bring is your interest, curiosity and an open mind to be amazed at the sights in our night sky.The evening programs start at 8pm with a talk about an astronomical subject proceeded by an observing session, weather permitted.

Join them on May 12 for, “A Cruise Through Space” presented by Karl Hricko, AAI & NWJAA .

Look up into the night sky at home and at their web site at www.UACNJ.Org for more information and directions.
