This Saturday is April Fools Day, but we're not fooling around, there's lots of beauty to be found when you wander here in Warren County. Paulinskill Valley Trail Committee hosts Hike at White Lake

Join the Paulinskill Valley Trail Committee (PVTC) for a hike starting at the White Lake Route 521 parking area.  The 4-5 mile hike of easy, level walking will be on White Lake Trail, plus part of the Paulinskill Trail to the Pratt truss bridge, and also requires a short walk on Spring Valley Road. Bring lunch and a drink.

Another opportunity to see the Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company present this spectacular production depicting the origin of the Chinese Lunar New Year celebration, where a group of villagers defeated the monster of the ages and started the custom of decorating and wearing red, giving gifts, lighting up the sky with fireworks and playing with firecrackers. It is a delightful production for families to enjoy together, perfect for ages 5 to adult.

In addition to classic country music (Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton,Willy Nelson), this eclectic group performs soft rock (Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Judy Collins) and old standards from the 1930's and 1940's (George Gershwin, Hoagie Carmichael, Gus Khan) as they "sing the songs you love to remember".

Art Exhibit: Roads and Byways of Warren County

See 64 works by local artists in a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic, ink print and photography that depict many beautiful and interesting spots around the county. The exhibit runs through April 15 in the Warren County ARTS Gallery in the hallways of the Oxford Township Municipal Building, and can be seen during business hours, Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm.
