The leaves have begun to change color and fall, and we have a beautiful weekend ahead of us! Harvest happenings are in full swing, so we're sticking with the corn maze theme two weeks in a row. This work of art can be found at Von Thun Farms, and it looks rather challenging! Meanwhile, we want to let you know about a few virtual events available online, so be sure to check out the "More Things To Do" section below for links to a pair of concerts you can watch at your leisure.

This is not a traditional maze in a corn field, which can often be challenging and a good way to get lost for a bit. The 4-H clover is in a hay field, and the hay is about 12 inches high. Check it out! Free and open to the public, dawn to dusk. Off street parking in the Balloon Port. Funding has been made possible, in part, by the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Division of Land Preservation.

Virtual Concert #1: Walt Bibinger Trio, Andrea Wittchen at Ramsaysburg

On August 16, 2020, the Walt Bibinger Trio (Walt on guitar with Nancy Coletti on vocals and Paul Rostock on bass) and classical harpist, Andrea Wittchen (accompanied by violinist Rebecca Brown) performed for an audience stuffed with a love for good music. The concert was produced by the Knowlton Township Historical Commission with generous support from the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Division of the Department of Land Preservation, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Virtual Concert #2: A Halo Called Fred

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions on large gatherings, the annual Shippen Manor Lawn Concerts Series could not be held in 2020. However, the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Division of the Department of Land Preservation, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, invites you to enjoy online concerts by the bands that were scheduled to perform. First up: A Halo Called Fred, a quirky quartet that performs songs about pirates, cavemen, and any body part or flying thing you can think of. Find their performance here. A fantastic, fall road adventure throughout Warren County! Stop in at participating local businesses October 9 - 31 for a chance to WIN: $1,000 Grand Prize or $750 Runner Up! The event is an effort to not only raise funds for Abilities of Northwest Jersey, but connect the local community with our businesses, while giving people a reason to safely get out of the house. Businesses may sign up as a sponsor through October 8.

Virtual Concert #1: Walt Bibinger Trio, Andrea Wittchen at Ramsaysburg

On August 16, 2020, the Walt Bibinger Trio (Walt on guitar with Nancy Coletti on vocals and Paul Rostock on bass) and classical harpist, Andrea Wittchen (accompanied by violinist Rebecca Brown) performed for an audience stuffed with a love for good music. The concert was produced by the Knowlton Township Historical Commission with generous support from the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Division of the Department of Land Preservation, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Virtual Concert #2: A Halo Called Fred

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions on large gatherings, the annual Shippen Manor Lawn Concerts Series could not be held in 2020. However, the Warren County Cultural and Heritage Division of the Department of Land Preservation, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, invites you to enjoy online concerts by the bands that were scheduled to perform. First up: A Halo Called Fred, a quirky quartet that performs songs about pirates, cavemen, and any body part or flying thing you can think of. Find their performance here. WC Habitat for Humanity Golf Outing

Boy Scouts of America Troop 54 presents its annual Car and Truck Show:  Car Troop 54, Where Are You? Bring your wheels or just come out to see the cars and trucks that others have entered in the show while you enjoy food and music. Dash Plaques for the first 50 cars registered.

Treats & Tricks - Flying Fun at WCCC

Two days of Hot Air Balloons - including the Monster Balloon - Drones, food trucks, some trick or treating for the kids, and a Balloon Glow both nights. “Mask up” but also dress in costume for this weekend event - there's a costume show both days - right before Halloween. Advance tickets are sold out, limited tickets at the gate, call for details.
