Festive Fall - October 2024

You'll join film lovers in over 500 venues across the globe gathering to see the Ten Finalist in this year's event. With past finalists garnering Oscar nominations and short films continuing to move into the Hollywood mainstream, come see this entertaining program featuring the best short films in the world taking place at three of Warren County libraries. Funding provided by Warren County Division of Cultural and Heritage Affairs and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Ballots supplied upon entry. Registration required.

Conor McPherson's play, The Weir, is spellbinding and beautiful, combining chilling tales of the supernatural with hilarious banter of a small Irish community. The local men swap spooky stories, attempting to impress a young Dublin woman, who moved into a nearby "haunted" house, though she spins a yarn of her own.

The entire community is invited to FUV's annual Fall Apple Festival complete with delicious food and homemade pressed apple cider. Activities include fresh pig roast meal with cabbage noodles, applesauce, dessert and a drink for $15. There will also be freshly pressed apple cider, apple pies, pumpkin rolls, music and lawn games.

A delightful afternoon with a five-course High Tea, held in the beautiful mansion. Space is limited.

Eric Mintel brings his adrenaline-fueled, spine-tingling program to Northeast and Southwest libraries to explore the mysterious world of the unknown including UFOs in the Lehigh Valley and Bucks County, the New Jersey Pine Barrens Bigfoot, Dogman encounters, and local ghosts.

From hand blown glass to freshly spun wool to handmade jewelry to antiques galore, by the river and under the trees at Ramsaysburg for a day of treasure hunting with a blending of 30 artisans and antique vendors, indoors and out, utilizing a large historic barn and the natural riverside amphitheater. Food truck will be on site. Free admission, rain or shine.

The BEC has revived this cherished tradition, bringing the community together for a fun and festive day and to raise funds for the restoration of the Footbridge Park, village district, and other projects to benefit the community. Local crafters/vendors, food trucks, live music, a pumpkin pavilion (paint a pumpkin provided by Race Farms) and new to this year a scarecrow and carved pumpkin contest! Attendance and parking are FREE!

Meet your new best friend at Czig Meister Brewing, bringing NJ animal rescues together for a fall adoption event. Part of Czig's mission is to expose as many adoptable pets to as many people as possible in order to help them find their perfect forever homes!

Warren County ARTS presents Forms of Water exhibit, open to the public through January 4, 2025, will have a reception and a chance to meet the artist. If you see a piece you like, they will be sold reasonably priced.
